The Iowa Osteopathic Medical Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of .5 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Teck K. Khoo, M.D., FACE, CCD, is a graduate of the University of Calgary, Canada. He completed his internal medicine residency and his Endocrinology Fellowship at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine. Dr. Khoo is board certified in internal medicine, endocrinology and metabolism. He also has a certification in Clinical Densitometry from the International Society of Clinical Densitometry and in Thyroid Ultrasonography and Biopsy from American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE). Dr. Khoo is practices at the Iowa Diabetes and Endocrinology Center in Des Moines, Iowa. He is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Carver College of Medicine, University of Iowa and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Endocrinology at Des Moines University. Also a member of the Mercy Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Committee.
