Vaccination has been one of the most significant public health achievements in human history, drastically reducing the prevalence of infectious diseases and saving countless lives. However, recent trends indicate a decline in vaccination acceptance and completion rates in the US and Europe. This decline is a pressing issue that requires a coordinated effort from healthcare providers. Pediatricians, other primary care providers, and specialists must employ consistent, evidence-based strategies to engage families and the broader society in fostering vaccine acceptance and protecting public health by adhering to the current vaccine schedule. By participating in this session, healthcare providers will be equipped with strategies to implement current vaccination schedules, address disparities, and effectively communicate with patients and caregivers to enhance vaccine uptake and public health outcomes.
