Indications and contraindications c. Adverse effects and cost 2. Summarize the results of cardiovascular outcome trials with GLP-1 agonists with respect to: a. Major adverse cardiovascular events (3- vs. 4-component outcomes) b. Renal function in diabetic subjects c. Weight loss 3. Cite the results of randomized clinical trials with GLP-1 agonists performed in obese/overweight subjects with the primary outcome of weight loss, and explain why the statistical method for assessing differences may be biased. 4.
