Description

Artificial Intelligence, it seems, is everywhere. Join us for an informative presentation on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in the field of medicine. This session will provide a comprehensive overview of AI/ML, illustrating fundamental concept and how these technologies are reshaping healthcare. The presentation will include a discussion on the basic principles of AI/ML, current AI/ML regulations and applications in healthcare and possible future trends.

Petr Cigner, MBBS, ABP Related Seminars and Products


Dr. Cigner graduated from the University of Queensland (Brisbane, Australia) medical school in 2012. He completed his Pediatric residency with an additional Chief year in 2017 at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, in Cleveland Ohio. After graduating from residency, he worked as a general pediatrician in Toppenish, WA for an FQHC for 6 years. Over the past 12 months, Dr. Cigner transitioned to focus on teaching at PNWU full-time in the Department of Family Medicine, and to work as a pediatric hospitalist at MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital. Dr. Cigner is interested in interprofessional collaboration, and learning about Artificial Intelligence, as it relates to improving patient care.
