Description

This session provides an in-depth review of the pathophysiology of endometriosis and adenomyosis, along with strategies for symptom relief. Participants will explore the common sites of these conditions, their clinical presentations, and the latest diagnostic and management options.

1. Understand the pathophysiology of endometriosis and adenomyosis
2. List the most common sites of endometriosis and adenomyosis
3. Describe the symptoms and physical exam findings in a patient with endometriosis and adenomyosis
4. Describe the diagnosis and management options for endometriosis and adenomyosis

Dr. Olesen is a graduate of Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. She completed a rotating internship and OB/GYN residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. She is board certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Olesen joined the medical staff at Broadlawns Medical Center in October 2019. She is the section chief of the OB/GYN department, and is accepting new patients and referrals.
