Objectives:

2. Discuss key takeaways for the busy family medicine physician and suggest further resources for keeping up to date with new medical research and knowledge.
The Maine Osteopathic Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. The Maine Osteopathic Association designates this program for a maximum of .75 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

John earned his undergraduate degree at Sewanee-The University of the South in Sewanee TN, and was awarded a master’s degree in biological sciences from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia PA. He completed medical training at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, family medicine training at St. Vincent’s Family Medicine Residency in Jacksonville, FL, and both a sports medicine fellowship and ONMM residency at Maine-Dartmouth. He joined Maine-Dartmouth as a faculty member in September 2020 and splits his time between the family medicine and ONMM residencies. John’s personal interests include road and mountain cycling, CrossFit, and soccer.
