Define “autoimmune disorder”, and name four examples. 2. Define “biologic” (as used in pharmacology) and name four examples. 3. Name six biologic agents that are FDA-approved for autoimmune disorders (loosely defined, as the FDA does not approve drugs for “autoimmune disorders”) 4. Explain why we have 10 versions of adalimumab available in the USA, with different average wholesale costs. 5. Compare and contrast the efficacy of tumor necrosis factor - inhibitors with monoclonal antibodies directed toward various interleukin molecules in psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, palmopustular psoriasis, and fingernail psoriasis. 6. Name the two biologics currently approved for atopic dermatitis that is unresponsive to topical therapies, as well as four other (quite different) indications for one of these agents.
