Steven Licata, DO


Steven Licata, DO, graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1997. He completed a residency in Family Practice and Osteopathic Medicine at Broward General Medical Center, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and was board-certified in 2000. Dr. Licata completed requirements and became board-certified in neuromusculoskeletal medicine in December 2005. He has been the associate director at the Institute For Non-Surgical Orthopedics since 1996. He is a currently an active member of AOA, AAO, ACOFP, FOMA, FAO, and the Cranial Academy. Dr. Licata is also certified in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound.

Dr. Licata is involved with teaching at NSUKPCOM and LECOM Bradenton. He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor, being involved in teaching residents and students general medicine, sports medicine, manipulation, and injection techniques. Dr. Licata has been active in lecturing to physicians at FAO and FOMA conferences on various subjects in osteopathic manipulation, neuromusculoskeletal medical management, and sports medicine.
