Shelly R. Zimmerman, DO

Shelly Zimmerman, DO, graduated from the Oklahoma State College of Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Hillcrest Health

Center in Oklahoma City.  She worked at Integris Southwest Medical Center for 17 years where she served at Core Faculty, Medical Student Clerkship Director and Residency Director.  She currently works in the Norman Regional Health Systems where she serves as Core Faculty and Medical Student Clerkship Director and has assisted in the development of their residency.  Her career goals center around providing and teaching competent and compassionate patient care.

She is a fellow of both ACOEP and ACEP.  She has completed the ACEP Teaching Fellowship.  She has served on the ACOEP Research Committee and is a Board Member of the Foundation for Osteopathic Emergency Medicine.  Shelly serves as adjunct clinical faculty at OSU-COM and is involved in their Mentor Program.  Shelly has won many teaching awards throughout her career.
