Ryan Hata, MD
Dr. Ryan Hata is a board certified emergency physician and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at Indiana University. He completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Wake Forest University and a Disaster Medicine fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School. His academic interests include disaster medicine and medical education, with a focus on counter-terrorism medicine, cybersecurity in healthcare, and medical preparation in low-resource environments. He has presented or taught medicine in over 10 countries and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Cybersecurity and Risk Management at Indiana University.
