Michael Conte, DO
Dr. Conte is a graduate of A.T. Still University – Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is board certified in both Family Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. After completing his Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine Residency at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2015, Dr. Conte served as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the OMM department at UNE COM, while also working as an NMM consultant physician for the inpatient
population at Maine Medical Center, routinely caring for a wide variety of cases including newborn and NICU infants, antepartum, postpartum, post-surgical, and ICU patients. Dr. Conte has worked as a Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine specialist in private practice in Santa Barbara, California. He joined the inaugural faculty at the California Health Sciences University College of Osteopathic Medicine as an Assistant Professor in Osteopathic Principles and Practices, helping to create
the new curriculum and teach the first few classes of medical students. In spring 2022, Dr. Conte returned to teach OMM as a full-time member of the UNE COM clinical faculty.
