Maribeth Gallagher, DNP

Dr. Maribeth Gallagher is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a doctoral degree in nursing. She serves as director of Hospice of the Valley’s Dementia Program, which has received national and international awards for its innovative approaches to dementia care. Dr. Gallagher was selected to serve on the Expert Panel on Advanced Dementia for the National Alzheimer’s Project Act in Washington, D.C., and was inducted as a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing. Her commitment to improving dementia care was initially inspired by her own experiences as a family caregiver, sharing the journey with her loved one with dementia from diagnosis to death.
