Julie Dionne, DO

Dr. Julie Dionne is an osteopathic physician currently serving as the OMM Clerkship Director at the OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is working with third year medical students in a clinical setting, ensuring they gain a working knowledge of OMT as they see and treat “real people” with “real” somatic dysfunction. Her goal in this position is to help the student realize how OMT can be a valuable complement to the clinical encounter.  Prior to teaching at OSU, she served as a family medicine physician in Cleveland, OK, where she provided primary care to her patients with frequent OMM techniques to help lessen their pain and improve their function.  Her educational background includes earning a Bachelor of Science in biomedical chemistry from Oral Roberts University, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Oklahoma State University and completing her Family Medicine and OMT training at the OSU Family Medicine Residency in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is celebrating 42 years of marriage to her best friend, Roger. Together they have four children, 8 grandchildren and now one great-grandson. (She always knew she was a great grandma and now it’s official). She loves to travel and has completed her goal of visiting all 50 states and has been to 21 countries on four continents.
