Joyce W. Wald, DO

Joyce W. Wald, DO, FACC, “Update in the Management of Congestive Heart Failure with Reduced Ejection Fraction in 2023,” is associate director of the mechanical circulatory support program at Penn Heart and Vascular Center and director of practice development for heart failure and transplant at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Board certified in internal medicine and cardiology, Dr. Wald is also a professor of clinical medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. A graduate of Gettysburg (Pa.) College and a 1992 graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, she completed an internship, internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia.
