Emily Simmons, OMS, MS

Emily Simmons is an incoming second year D.O. student at Sam Houston State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She currently works with Sahar Soliman, RPh, PhD? investigating the impacts of COVID-19 on the Opioid Epidemic. Emily graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas Woman’s University, and a Master of Science in Medical Science from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. Emily’s interests include preventative medicine, pediatrics, family medicine, and pain management.
