Elizabeth Weedin, DO
Dr. Weedin is a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist who was born and raised in Waverly, Nebraska. Dr. Weedin received her undergraduate degree in Nutritional Science from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and then moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she attended medical school and graduated from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following medical school, Dr. Weedin completed her general Obstetrics and Gynecology residency as well as her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. During her medical training she was admitted into both Sigma Sigma Phi, the National Honorary Osteopathic service fraternity, as well as to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Additionally, she obtained a Masters Degree in Clinical and Translational Science through the University of Oklahoma College of Public Health during fellowship training.
Dr. Weedin’s research interests include polycystic ovary syndrome, and the impact of lifestyle, mental, physical and emotional health, on infertility. She also loves to teach students and residents and holds a faculty appointment at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Clinically, Dr. Weedin has special interests in Mullerian anomalies, reproductive surgery, multi-disciplinary approaches to patient care, and infertility treatment. Dr. Weedin is a partner at Heartland Center for Reproductive Medicine and offers the full spectrum of reproductive endocrinology and infertility treatment in her practice.
