David Vogel, DO


David Vogel, DO was born in Herndon Virginia in the Washington DC metropolitan area. He attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA where he earned a B.S. in Biology. He then went on to do an M.S. at Georgetown University in Biotechnology and did his thesis on to develop protease inhibitors to treat the Dengue Virus. He did research for AGT in gene therapy using lentiviral vectors to target multiple types of cancer include liver a prostate CA. He also worked in research for the National Institute of Health for the National Library of Medicine. He went on to pursue medicine and obtained his D.O. in 2018 at Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine (LUCOM). He completed his intern year in Family Medicine at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, VA and continued to practice FM in Falls Church, VA until matriculating to the Osteopathic Neuromuscular Medicine program with Larkin Community hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he is currently a PGY-2.
