Darren McAuley, DO, MMEL


Darren McAuley, DO, MMEL, received his undergraduate degree in biology from Vassar College in 1997 and graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002. After completing his residency in osteopathic manual medicine and neuromusculoskeletal medicine at Plainview Hospital in Plainview New York, he completed a sports medicine fellowship at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Reading Pennsylvania in 2007. Dr. McAuley sat for and passed the pain medicine boards in 2013. In addition to the three active board certifications, Dr. McAuley received a master’s degree in medical education and leadership and a fellowship through the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine. His professional passions include the utilization of imaging to achieve objective confirmation of anatomical changes after osteopathic manual medicine and performing a wide array of ultrasound guided procedures. Dr. McAuley has been in the Air National Guard for 25 years. He currently functions as the Florida State Air Surgeon and principal medical advisor to the Adjuvant General-Air. He is an avid bodybuilder and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
