Daniel McCabe, MD

Dan McCabe is the Director of the Division of Medical Toxicology and a Clinical Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He graduated medical school from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, residency in Emergency Medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, and fellowship in Medical Toxicology at Regions Hospital and the Minnesota Poison Control System in the Twin Cities. He splits his clinical time between the emergency department, the University of Iowa Medical Toxicology consult service, and as a consultant for the Iowa Poison Control Center and Nebraska Regional Poison Center.
