Learning Objectives:

"Learning and Faculty Development"

  • Introduce a brief history of osteopathic medicine
  • Discuss the influences that have affected osteopathic medical education
  • Discuss a paradigm for osteopathic training in the future

"OMM Without a Table"

  • Participants will utilize seated Still Technique and Muscle Energy for the axial spring and rib somatic dysfunction
  • Participants will perform Still Technique for anterior and posterior innominate dysfunctions
  • Unilateral sacral dysfunctions will be treated with Still Technique

"Osteopathic Road Map to the Pelvis"

  • Diagnosis of pelvis review: standing flexion, ASIS compression, pocket pelvis
  • Participants will review concepts of FPR
  • Use FPR to treat anterior and posterior innominate rotations
  • Use FPR to treat shears: pubic shears

"Whiplash"

  • Decompress the sacrum from the pelvis
  • Medium-Velocity, Medium Amplitude Cervical Articulatory
  • Dural Shock Treatment

She has been recognized as a Fellow and a Master Preceptor by the American College of Osteopathic Family Practitioners (2023), as the OU-HCOM Family Medicine Preceptor of the year (2015), as an OU-HCOM graduating physician mentor (2017-2021), and won the state of Ohio Osteopathic Family Medicine Original Research Paper award in 2001.

She also completed a Neuromuscular Medicine (NMM) Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in

Warrensville Heights, OH. Dr. Zamor was in private practice in Richmond, VA before moving to Ohio where she was employed by hospital-owned practices, or at supplemental locums assignments.
