The Tennessee Osteopathic Medical Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. The Tennessee Osteopathic Medical Association designates this program for a maximum of 1 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Asim Ahmed, DO, is board certified electrophysiologist and director of the Afib Clinic at Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola, Florida. He provides personalized, comprehensive care to adults with heart rhythm disorders. Dr. Ahmed has a special interest in atrial tachy-arrhythmias, ventricular tachycardia, and complex ablation. During his training, he served as both chief resident and chief fellow and was named resident and fellow of the year on multiple occasions. His passion for medical education has led to multiple publications and presentations.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ahmed enjoys spending time with his wife and dogs, reading, sketching, listening to podcasts, and traveling.
