Nanette Lacuesta, FAAFP, MD is a board-certified family physician and is an Associate Program Director for OhioHealth Riverside Family Medicine Residency program in Columbus, OH. She also serves as the System Program Director of Physician Diversity Initiatives for OhioHealth Graduate Medical Education and the OhioHealth Physician Diversity Scholars Program, a pipeline mentoring program for medical students who are underrepresented in medicine which has been nationally recognized by the ACGME and the Alliance of Independent Academic Medical Centers (AIAMC) as an innovative program to address the diversity of the physician workforce. Dr. Lacuesta has received numerous awards her work in both medical education and in diversity and inclusion and has spoken nationally on numerous topics in resident and faculty development, leadership skills, and inclusion culture. She has expertise in implicit bias and inclusive leadership and is an implicit bias mitigation trainer for healthcare workers through The Ohio State University Medical Center.

Lauren Matera, DO, is currently a senior fellow in the section of Adolescent Medicine at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Dr. Matera attended medical school at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (Stratford, NJ) and completed her pediatric residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Altman’s life-long passion has focused on supporting individuals who struggle with eating disorders and body image through research, treatment and advocacy. Dr. Altman founded Eating and Behavioral Health Associates in January 2018 with this passion in mind. She is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Adjunct Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry & Behavioral Health at The Ohio State University/Wexner Medical Center, and Owner/Clinical Director of Eating and Behavioral Health Associates, a group of mental health experts committed to providing evidence-based treatments for eating disorders, PTSD, depression, anxiety and chronic health conditions in children, adolescents and adults. Additionally, she has been dedicated to the training and education of mental health providers, medical providers, schools, and the community on assessment, diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders and related mental health concerns. Dr. Altman’s research has been published in top peer-reviewed journals. Most notably, her Doctoral Preliminary Examination paper on the co-morbidity of Bulimia Nervosa and OCD was published in Clinical Psychology Review and has been cited in over 250 articles. She has co-authored over 15 other peer-reviewed journal articles. She has also presented her research at several national conferences, including the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, Association for Psychological Research, Society for Research in Psychopathology, and the Eating Disorders Research Society. She has been invited to provide talks and lectures at several universities including The Ohio State University, West Virginia University, Case Western Reserve University, University of Illinois at Chicago and Spalding University. In addition to her work at EBHA, she currently collaborates with two non-profit organizations with missions closely aligned to hers. She is excited to collaborate with the Clinical Readiness Project, a non-profit consortium of experts dedicated to delivering premiere psychological, behavioral, and mental health training curricula to any audience. She also serves as a board member and clinical consultant for BIBRI, a non-profit dedicated to supporting awareness and prevention of eating disorders as well as providing free support groups for those struggling with an eating disorder.

Bonci , MPH,RD,CSSD, LDN, FAND is a registered dietitian, board certified specialist in sports dietetics and is the owner of Active Eating Advice- be fit, fed, fearless- a nutrition consulting company and co-founder of Performance365- a sports nutrition consulting company. She is the sports nutrition consultant for the Kansas City Chiefs.
She is the author of Sport Nutrition for Coaches and the American Dietetic Association Guide to Better Digestion and co-author of Run Your Butt Off, Walk Your Butt Off, the Active Calorie Diet and Bike Your Butt Off.
She has authored numerous chapters for sports medicine and sports nutrition manuals. Leslie is also a blogger for US News and World Report and provides nutrition expertise for television, radio and print interviews.
Leslie is an adjunct instructor in the school of dental medicine at the University of Pittsburgh , also teaches in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Pitt and the Athletic training program at Duquesne University. Leslie was the director of sports nutrition at the UPMC Center for Sports Medicine for 16 years.
Leslie is a nationally and internationally recognized speaker presenting on topics such as nutrition misinformation, Fuels of Engagement and Sciencesationalism. She is a 2021 recipient of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Medallion Award and a fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
