Amanda is the Executive Director of the Maine Osteopathic Association. She has served the organization in several roles since joining the team in 2016. Nationally, she serves on the board of the Association of Osteopathic State Executive Directors (AOSED) and is Co-Chair of its CME Committee. She also has been honored to serve as AOSED’s representative to the AOA’s Bureau of Membership for the past two years. Prior to her nonprofit work, Amanda gained experience planning corporate and private events at several Maine events companies and resorts. She attended the University of Maine where she earned a BA in Communication and continued her studies to earn a Master’s in Communication while teaching
introductory courses as a Teaching Assistant.

Sean Neal is the Director of Grassroots and OPAC with the American Osteopathic Association and has more than ten years of political and advocacy experience with a focus on fundraising, government relations, and grassroots initiatives. Sean currently heads the AOA’s grassroots programs on both the state and federal, including DO Day on Capitol Hill.
In addition to his role with AOA, Sean also runs the Osteopathic Political Action Committee (OPAC) where he serves as the point person for all political campaigns. Sean was one of the original founders and board members of a physician-industry first Super PAC where he raised over $800,000 in less than 4 months. In addition, Sean developed a physician-industry first charity PAC match which netted $30,000 for charity.
Sean is the co-chair of both the physician PAC Forum and Candidate Workshop where physicians are trained how to run for Congress. In addition, Sean is the chair of Innovate to Motivate, a program that fulfills the professional development requirements to earn or maintain the certified association executive credential.

Anne Sedlack graduated from the University of Vermont in 2013 where she majored in Anthropology and minored in Classical Civilizations and Studio Art. After college, she served in AmeriCorps for two years at an alternative high school in Maine. She received her master’s degree in social work from the University of Southern Maine in 2017 and her law degree from the University of Maine School of Law in 2020. After law school, Anne clerked for the Hon. Joseph M. Jabar at the Maine Supreme Court. And, before joining MMA, she worked in government affairs in a private practice in Maine. She is admitted to practice law in Maine.
Anne serves on the Public Arts Committee for the City of South Portland, the 4-H Camp & Learning Centers at Tanglewood & Blueberry Cove Board, and the Board for the Maine Child Welfare Services Ombudsman’s office. Angie is a lifelong Maine resident who graduated from Kennebec Valley Community College in 2007 with a BS in medical assisting. She worked in direct care, phlebotomy and urology, and then moved over to MaineCare working on provider relations. In 2010, she joined the Maine CDC Breast and Cervical Health Program and held various positions, before transitioning to the Office of Family Independence for 10 years. In 2022, Angie returned to the breast and cervical health program as the Provider Network Coordinator.

Raised in rural Maine and a graduate of Bowdoin College, UVM College of Medicine, and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles residency program, Dr. Mills practiced in a variety of places including Los Angeles and Tanzania before returning to provide primary care in her hometown. She was then tapped to lead public health for Maine for nearly 15 years, then for the University of New England, and now for MaineHealth, the state’s largest hospital-based healthcare system. As a board-certified pediatrician and public health leader in the most rural state in the nation with an increasing diverse population in its urban areas, her work has focused on addressing health issues across the spectrum – from tobacco to environmental health issues, pandemics (HIV, H1N1, and COVID), obesity, the opioid epidemic, maternal child health, and health disparities, to name a few. Her work has been widely recognized, including receiving ASTHO’s McCormack Award, the AMA’s Nathan Davis Award, American Academy of Pediatrics Special Achievement Award, and state awards, including the highest awards by the Maine Medical Association and Maine Public Health Association, as well as an honorary degree conferred by the University of Maine. On a personal note, she splits her time between Portland and her lake cottage in rural Maine, and enjoys a number of year round outdoor activities with her two young adult children as well as other family and friends.

Dr. Yee came to osteopathic medicine later in life. She completed several degrees Bachelor of Liberal Arts, Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering, Masters of Biomedical Engineering and Masters of Mechanical Engineering working in various fields before attending UNECOM and graduating in 2005.
She finished the FP residency at UNECOM in 2008 and Then did the OMM Plus One at UNECOM graduating in 2009. Diane Zavotsky, MD is a board certified Family Physician with a BA from Colby College and medical degree from McGill University in Montreal. Dr. Courtney Pladsen DNP, FNP-C has worked in the health care safety net for over 15 years in Emergency Departments and FQHCs. Tristan Reynolds, DO is a Mainer who earned an undergraduate degree in biology from Pennsylvania State University and attended medical school at University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNE COM). While a medical student, Tristan was awarded a one-year OMM/anatomy pre- doctoral teaching fellowship. Tristan subsequently completed a PGY1 year in OB/GYN and, realizing that it was not the right fit, left residency to pursue academia as an assistant clinical professor at UNE COM.
He taught first and second year medical students for 5 years and rose to co-course director of UNE COM’s Year 1 Osteopathic Clinical Skills, an integrated clinical skills/anatomy/OMM course. Tristan returned to residency training at Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency (MDFMR) where he was a co-chief resident. He stayed on as full time faculty at MDFMR where he does outpatient, inpatient, and obstetrics. Tristan has specific clinical interests in diagnostic reasoning, cardiology, and addiction medicine. Dr. Mazoki is a Philadelphia native who completed medical school in Maine and was excited to return to the state.
