Objectives:
1: Attendees will learn more about the advantages, disadvantages and potential pitfalls of traditional medications used in the treatment of gout.
2: Attendees will learn how to better engage their patients in their own treatment in the management of gout.
3: Attendees will better understand "refractory gout," and when to refer complex patients with multiple morbidities to rheumatology.
This session is accredited for a maximum of 1.0 AOA Category 1-A credits. Credits commensurate with participation in the session will be awarded.
