COVID-19 and Considerations of Returning to Sports & Recreational Activities-


First presented at the OPSO 2020 conference (9/18/2020) OPSO is pleased to offer this CME program on-demand. In this program Thomas Stocklin-Enright, DO, presents COVID-19 & Considerations of Returning to Sports/Recreational Activities.

The objectives for this course are:

Returning to sport/recreational activity safely with a focus on youth/pediatric patients

Considerations of pre-participation exam

Post-COVID diagnosis return to sport/recreational activity

Corticosteriod use for MSK pathology during COVID-19

Dr. Stocklin-Enright discloses that he has no relevant financial relationships with any organization producing, marketing, reselling, or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients relative to the content of his presentation.

The Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of Oregon is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of .75 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Thomas Stocklin-Enright, DO, Promedica Sports Medicine

Dr. Stocklin-Enright is originally from Aurora, Oregon and attended University of Oregon prior to completing medical school at Western University of Health Sciences (COMP-NW). Following medical school he completed his residency in Family Medicine in Wilmington, NC and more recently Primary Care Sports Medicine at Duke University. He is currently working in Toledo, OH for Promedica Physicians Sports Medicine - Perrysburg. His wife, Alyssa, is also a graduate of Western University of Health Sciences who is finishing her Primary Care Sports Medicine training in Toledo, OH.
